The Highland Construction and Property Dinner raised £16,500 for three local charities following an enjoyable evening in the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness on Friday 17 November 2023. 

The three benefiting charities were; Inverness Sea Cadets who give local young people access to incredible opportunities and skills that help them to launch well in today’s world, cancer support centre Maggie’s Highland and Crocus Highland a bereavement support service for children and young people living in the Highlands.

This sold out event is organised annually in partnership between the Scottish Building Federation, the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The Scottish Building Federation would like to place on record our gratitude to the local organising committee who once more done a tremendous job in arranging the evening. 

SBF had a table at the dinner with local Members joining and SBF President Euan Clark was also a guest on the top table.

After dinner entertainment was provided by Peter Brown, who was well received on the evening as was the now traditional musical guessing game ‘hit or miss’. The night concluded with a charity raffle and auction.    

It was fantastic to see so many local Members continuing to support this function with over 300 attendees and we are already looking forward to next year’s event.
