SBF AGM 2026

Scottish Building Federation Annual General Meeting 2026

The SBF AGM was held on the afternoon of Thursday 21 May 2026 in The Trades Hall of Glasgow.

Euan Clark, Managing Director with Ashleigh (Scotland) Ltd, was re-appointed as the President of the Federation at the AGM. Craig Bruce, Manging Director of Pert-Bruce Construction Ltd, was elected as the Vice President and Michael Hillman, Manufacturing Director with Thomas Johnstone Ltd, was elected Junior Vice President.

All of the existing SBF Directors were re-appointed with Murray Dunsire of East Fife Joinery Ltd joining the Board in order to represent the Fife association. The SBF Board of Directors now includes;

Immediately prior to the commencement of the AGM, a series of business update presentations were held with speakers including Pat Loftus (Anderson Strathern) providing an update on developments at SBCC, Michael Conroy (Harper MacLeod) detailing progress with the Building Safety Act and Building Safety Levy, Vaughan Hart (SBF) delivering a review of the Employment Rights Act 2025, Billy Baxter (CITB) summarised Scotland’s construction workforce outlook and Craig Clinton  (Drummond Laurie) spoke on tax planning and changes and accounting disclosures.  

After the AGM, Members headed to Saints of Ingram in Glasgow for an enjoyable and relaxed dinner.
